Where we work
We're based on Frink Road in Larkspur and we run the machine across the Front Range, from the Douglas County foothills to the Elbert County ranches to the high mountain WUI. If your property carries fuel, we probably cover it, and for large acreage we travel statewide.
Coverage by region
Front Range communities we serve
Every community below has its own page with the local fuel, terrain, fire history, and cost-share programs that apply there. Pick yours, or just call and we'll tell you straight whether we cover your ground.
10 communities
Douglas County
Our home county. Steep red-rock foothills, dense scrub oak, and crowded ponderosa across the highest-risk interface communities we serve.
2 communities
El Paso County & the Palmer Divide
The forested top of the Palmer Divide, where ponderosa and Douglas-fir climb straight up from the back fences.
4 communities
Elbert County
Ranch-and-ponderosa country: wooded acreage in the draws, cured grassland between, and the grass-to-timber transition that drives fire here.
5 communities
Front Range Mountains
High-country WUI in Jefferson, Teller, and Park counties, dense mixed conifer and the fire history to match. Bring the short season; we work it.
8 communities
South Metro & Front Range
Lower-risk metro ground where the work is brush clearing, lot clearing, and grassland defensible space rather than forest thinning.
Large Acreage & Ranch
Ranch, acreage, and off-grid properties
Not every job is a subdivision lot. We do a lot of work on large acreage, ranches, horse properties, off-grid mountain parcels, and land that never appears on a city list, and for big projects we travel statewide beyond our regular Front Range routes. A forestry mulcher is the right tool for scale: it covers ground far faster and cheaper than hand crews, and it treats grassland, timber stands, and oak thickets in one mobilization.
On big parcels we phase the work, treating the ground around the house, outbuildings, and access first, then extending outward as budget and cost-share allow. Whether it's forest thinning across wooded acreage, brush and lot clearing on overgrown ground, or scrub oak removal on a rangeland slope, if you can get us to it, we can clear it. If your parcel is outside the towns listed above, call the shop, tell us the acreage and the terrain, and we'll tell you honestly whether it's a fit.
