Projects & Before/After

Talk is cheap and brush is heavy. Here's real work on real Front Range ground: thickets that were fire hazards in the morning and defensible space by dark. Names held back, photos and details real.

Jobs Residential to ranch Ground Larkspur · Sedalia · Douglas Co.

Scrub oak removal · Douglas County

A hillside lot buried under a continuous Gambel oak thicket, oak growing right to the deck posts. One day with the mulcher took the standing fuel to a clean mulch layer and opened 60 feet of defensible space around the house. The homeowner kept a few shaped oak clumps for screening; the fuse between them is gone.

Fuel reduction · Sedalia

Overgrown acreage above Sedalia with heavy ground fuel and crowded understory feeding straight into the pines. We thinned the ladder fuel and mulched the brush across the parcel, leaving the mature trees spaced and the ground open. A fire reaching this ground now stays down where it can be fought.

Brush clearing · Larkspur

A Larkspur property where brush had swallowed the usable land around the home. The mulcher opened it back up in a pass, turning tangled scrub into a clean, walkable, defensible buffer, with the mulch left behind to hold the soil and slow the regrowth.
